secondary care?

i recently started councling and i will fess up and hav'nt to him everything but the last session i had he was asking about sucide ect and said if i get any closer he'd have to refer me to secondary care? what is it tried looking it up but havnt gotten anywhere. i try my best to avoid any form of medics and stopped seeing my gp in january (e.g. just never went back). just a bit worried as i dont want anymore on more record. (the gp didnt know about the attempts) he also wants me to go to the police ect over the past issues :$ sorry this doesnt make sense but nor does my head

As far as i am aware, secondary care consists of the crisis team and comunity mental health teams etc.

Maybe some extra care could be good for you. No one can make you go to the police over what has happened in the past if you're not ready to do so. You seem worried about things getting on your record, I wouldn't worry about that, medical records are confidential, they don't lead people to judge you, just help your doctor to keep informed on you so they can best help you.

Yeah it's the community mental health team. Someone who can link you in with community project, visit you at home/out and about and helps out with stuff like benefits, housing, jobs, police stuff, everything. They're a good team.
