Tracing
Hi, i was just wondering if anyone else does this.
I like doing this thing i call tracing. I call it this cos i use somthing to trace but not cut along the lines on my skin. I love the way it can hurt but not leave marks. I like it when it tingles and sends shivers down my spine. It keeps me my hands busy when i have nothing to do, and keeps me content becuase i know i have not cut. Does anyone else do this? |
I don't do this but can you edit to take out knife because you can't post tools from what I know about the forums.
|
Can you explain what you mean a bit more?
Do you mean that you use your tools to sort of cut but you don't press down so it doesn't actually break the skin? I do that quite often, it just calms me down, I also use my nails to do that, but I'm not sure whether that's actually what you mean... |
yes, thats basicly it
i just called it tracing cos i though it should have a name |
Yeah, in that case, I do that a lot when I want to cut but can't, either because I'm not in the right place to or if I don't have any first aid stuff, it has the same sort of effect SI has for me, but it's not as strong as the effect SI has. It's normally sometihng I do until I can cut though, instead of a replacement for it.

I think I know what you mean. I tend to do it subconsciously and only realise when somebody points it out......hm.
