relapse

i stopped seriously cutting a while ago, i wanted to but also cause i could find nowhere that sold blades.
then i found out, mainly by looking, that my local boots sell them.
now i'm stuck. i thought i was done but on complete impulse i bought some. then i bought steristrips. so now i'm completely prepared to cut like i used to.
i wanna cut. but a) i'm scared to start again b) i'm craving cutting deep and c) i only kind of want to but still do.
i'm so confused!!
does anyone have any distraction stuff that actually works that doesn't include drink or talking?
i'm lost x

Did you try the butterfly project? Draw a butterfly (or anything really) on the areas where you want to cut.
Snap a rubberband on your wrist.
Hold an ice cube in your hand.
Take a bath.
Exercise helps a lot. I spent a few hours today pulling weeds and it got all of the tension and anxiety that comes with the urges out of me. and it made my yard look so much better too!
play games online.
smell some candles or flowers. do something to stimulate your senses. hug a pillow. scream. wrap yourself up in a blanket tightly. lay outside in the sun or take a walk in the rain. play with an animal or a child. there's lots you can do :)

I pulled out weeds today, too. Now my strawberrys can grow better. yum

I just wanted to add, that there is a long list of distractions somewhere on here (forgot where exactly, but I guess searching for it can be distracting too.)

Just wondering how you are doing?
And also, why is talking not an option?

mmmm, i'm doing ok. i cut, but not deep, i was kinda scared to! been a while.
distraction is hard, usually when i need it i'm just sad on my own with nothing to distract me and quite often i'm not sure i want to be distracted, in a way.

i've never been much of a talker. i'm very private about the whole thing, well about most things really. i always worry about making people feel uncomfortable or feel like i'm glorifying it or something, which i'm obviously not. i find it very hard to be vulnerable.
i'm just gonna throw myself into work, not get drunk and just accept that i'm not perfect.
so hows everyone else?
xx
