Bearded dragon poo!
 

Ok, so our bearded dragons eat crickets and mealworm things. So why does their poo smell like human poo???????? :ermm:

I can only speak for myself when I say I eat crickets and mealworm things; that probably explains why my pooh smells like Bearded Dragon pooh *Nods sagely*

That doesn't surprise me!

Well, I assume that you poo doesnt smell like the things you have eaten? For example, eating strawberrys or chicken generally dont change the smell.

This is because the smell, is not off the food, but part of the chemical reaction of the stomach acid as when it breaks down the food and then as the waste proudcts are formed. I assume that a bearded dragon has fairly similar chemicals in its body as a human, as it is air breathing and UV light sensitive, so its digestion will be the same.

But they poo in the bath...........

We have rabbit poo in the living room. Snoopy is such a dirty bugger sometimes.

I thought rabbits ate their poo.
