Nursing degree
 

I know there may have been a few threads on this topic so sorry in advance.

I just wanted to know if people had any trouble with their health checks which are done and what sort of questions you are asked.

I study MH Nursing in the UK. I found occupation health really tough, they just want a thorough history of your illness, how it affects you, and when was your last episode eg. depressive episode etc. When I applied they were reluctant to let me in, but they ask for a report from your GP or other relevant health care professional, and he said I was fit to do it.

my last one was Jan and i'm now really worried they might not let me in.

When I applied it had only been a few months since my last one. They were reluctant to let me in but my doctor fought my case for me.

I didn't have a good experience. But be honest and see how they can work with you. See what support they can give you.

I didnt have a problem with occy health. they were thorough but not prohibitive

I've got to see the doctor on the 21st so i'm just hoping it all goes well or i don't know what i'm going to do.

They signed me off fit for uni :):)
