I don't know what to do
 

My dad's just broken my arm, I think. He attacked me, I fell and my arms twice the size it should be and black and blue.

I don't know what to do :(

Sorry to hear that hun, are you safe now? If not can you go somewhere where you will be safe?

At the very least you need to go and get your arm seen to at A&E. And if you feel up to it report the attack to the police, which I think they may be able to help you with at A&E. It was very wrong of him to do that.

Is there any way that you can stay at a friend's right now? It doesn't sound as though you are terrifically safe and it would be best if you could make sure that you are before you think through everything else. In a safer environment you can put your thoughts together and sort through them easier and more calmly.

Did you tell the hospital staff what happened? There are organisations that could help you, I'm sure.

My boyfriend managed to see to me, look at the x-rays and do most of the stuff at the hospital (he's a doctor and although he technically probably wasn't supposed to another doctor came and did, like, forms and things). He, obviously, knows about my home life so I said for now I didn't want it to go any further than him and the other doctor who was there.

I've been staying with him all weekend, haven't been home yet. Just not sure what to do about my stupid family anymore. I feel ashamed but don't know why :(

That's nice of your boyfriend. And you have nothing to be ashamed of.
Please don't go home. It'll just happen again. Can you live with your boyfriend?
