Are you seeing a professional about the separation anxiety?
There isn't a lot anyone here can do, but it would be a good idea to maybe try and distract yourself with something that can help take your mind off of it.

Keep in mind that wherever she is, she'll be coming back.

What do you most need from her?

I can understand and empathise that empty frantic gap of separation anxiety as I experience similar, with people I'm close to. Take things one moment at a time, and be as gentle to yourself as you can.

I used to have this so bad with my mum. It started after I was discharged from my section. She works for four hours a day and I would cry so much before she went to work, and when she was at work I'd panic so much and in the end would sleep the entire time she was gone so I wouldnt have to deal with it.

Now my mum is out all of the time, and I go out without her all the time (before I couldnt leave the house without my mum), I go to college, go to London, stay with friends.

It was a gradual thing, I got a lot of help from my CMHT. They would take me out for short walks and then to cafes and things without my mum and so on. And my mum would start going out for longer until I got to where I am today.
