how to deal with scars
 

im not too bothered about the fact i have them, sorta. i have big ugly scars from nasty cuts on my legs & MOST of the cuts are in the process of healing. i have a few that are healed & theyve left really obvious nasty scars. any advice on how to deal with them till theyve healed up a bit?

Are you asking about how to hide the scars? If they're just on your legs, your best bet is tights/leggings; if you just google "leggings" or go to Forever21.com or something, you can find some pretty cheap pairs. If you have to do swimming or something, there is some tattoo-grade concealer out there (I believe the brand is called Kat Von D. or something) that's made for that sort of things. Otherwise? Make sure to keep the scars moisturized (don't quote me on this, but I think vitamin E is supposed to help) so that they won't scar as badly, and be careful about sun exposure as it can sometimes make them worse.

Just make sure they don't get infected while they are healing, and once they're no longer open wounds, try vitamin E or Bio Oil. I don't know how much help this'll be, but yeah...also leggings - the saviour of those with leg scars :) x

I know how you feel. My legs are basically scar tissue.
I don't know if i'll ever wear anything but jeans again.

another good product is cocoa butter, you can get it in superdrug or boots. they also sell a cocoa butter scar serum but i tried it before and tbh im not sure if it helps.
