Server Crash

Hey sysops,

Is there a reason for the newest server crash

Hi,

Apologies for the brief outage, this was part of a scheduled reboot for kernel upgrades for the web servers which hosts RYL - all systems are running normally otherwise.

Sorry for the lack of notice; I often post maintenance notices to these boards but I suspect a comparatively small percentage of RYL visitors see these and so it is often better simply to get the work done as quickly as possible with the minimum of downtime so as not to concern everyone unnecessarily.

It lasted for under 5 minutes james. That is a small price to pay for what ever technical work you need to do.
