Ive been told i SI in more than one way ...

my friend noted that i pull my hair out ( single strands here and there on my head and the air on my arms and eyebrows i didnt realise this could be seen as SI sometimes i dont realise i do it is it worth mentioning to my doctor?

yes, it is absolutely worth mentioning. its not that uncommon, just people don't tend to think of it. compulsively pulling out hair is called trichotillomania.

oh right thanks...
the top of my arms i scratch and pick at but the doctor knows about that .. its compulsion or something but he hasnt told me if thats a condioton but thank you

Agree with the above :)
The odd hair on your hair is fine, you know, sometimes they grow in an awkward way, but purposely pulling them out for other reasons, is not good. x

EDIT: Scratching and picking at your skin is a condition and can be also classed as SH, I do this. It's called dermatillomania, it can be VERY addictive...
