I'm a really good listener. :)

This could very well be in the wrong forum, and if it is, sorry. But I haven't been on here in ages. People have left and I don't see any familiar names anymore, so I figured I'll get to know you all again.

So, here's some basic things about me.
Hello, I'm Kayla. I'm eighteen.
I've self harmed since I was a child.

I've been clean for more than eight months.
Sure, doesn't seem very long to some.
But for me, it's the longest I've been clean.

Pain is something I understand.
So, I'm here to listen. Really.

Give me your stories. Write a novel, write a sentence. Lose your voice, scream. Whisper. Give me every single detail. Or just the basics.
I'll listen.

8 months is so good well done! :) im becky and im 20 ive been clean for 8 months too, struggling a bit at the moment tho

eight months is awesome. I've never been clean for that long, so congrats!
I've been SH-ing myself for more than eight years now. it's become part of who I am, my life. I'm 21 now.
I'm scared it will never stop, but your post gave me some hope <3

This is a beautiful thread, I love it when people feel the power and strength to look out for other people. Much love to you for that! Also, eight months is amazing, it's something I'd only dream of achieving at the moment. Everyone welcome to RYL, I'm only a pm away if you want to chat more :). There's not much to say about me apart from I was recommended this site online somewhere and I have found it to be very useful at times, especially as I only came out to someone about all of this just under two months a go. It's really helped me realise there are other people who are in similar situations to me and just want to be heard and accepted.
