what could this mean?

Just wondering what this could be, because I have no clue and it was the first time it ever happened. It was during a doctor appoiment. we were talking about my thoughts:

whats it called, when someone feels completey removed from their body, no feelings( like someone could stab u and u wouldnt feel it) you feel like u have turned into jello. everything everyone says passes over ur head. u have to ask people to repeat questions. u feel dizzy and weak and sick to ur stomach. I couldn't really speak, yes and no answers.I looked out the window and did not turn back my head. Didnt even move an inch, until she said Nicole.. are you okay. I replied yes but I really wasnt. I dropped my cheques and had to clal me to tell me. First time ever. I also had to sit outside for 20 mons after the appoiment. A little shaken and then I went and got in the vechile driving and everyone was bipping at me. I had drove past storesa I needed to go into and didnt know where I was at. I went home and then slept for 5 hours striagth in the middle of the afternoon.

This is the first time this happened really, and I am scared. :(

It sounds like dissociation or depersonalization to me but I could be wrong. I'll reply better soon as I'm currently very tired sorry. Take care of yourself Hun xx

I agree, sounds like dissociation. Your doc should probably know that it happened. I wish you that you find out what's going on.

Yes dissociation is a natural coping mechanism to stress and trauma and can present itself inmany ways and forms, maybe this will be of some help:

I think you should talk this over with your doctor or someone else that can help you with this. There are many grounding techniques, one common one looking closely at your surroundings such as picking a colour I.e pink and then counting how many pink items there are around you. I hope this is of some use and can help you gain some peace, take care of yourself. X
