I'm so sad!!!

I have not cut in over 2 months, which I know is great but it seems like the longer I go without cutting the worse I feel. I felt like this before when I went over 2 years. I had to quit again this time because I know my life is in serious danger with the severity of my cutting. I'm also 8 weeks pregnant and I feel like if I do anything to myself I might as well be hurting my baby. Things just seem to be falling apart all over right now. I started back to college today and my teachers so far seem pretty cold and calious. Im not sure if I feel bad because of usual pregnancy crazies or what, all I know is I hate crying and I feel like I might fail and cry and I know if that happens I will harm myself seriously since I DO NOT allow myself to cry. Well better go, sorry to bother.

hey,
you are doing the right thing for your baby,
i'm sorry i dont have too much to say. i'm sorry that you're hurting.
but with all those hormones... i mean jeez, when i have PMS i cry during the Simpsons, nevermind being preggers. can you call some one to have a Ben Stiller movie marathon with you? no crying there.

just worry about yourself now, maybe you can get to know your teachers better and they wont be so distant.

be safe

Whats wrong with crying hun? Maybe it will release some tension. It doesnt make you weak, its a human function.

Maybe keep the thought of your baby in mind to keep you motivated to stop the SIing.
Sorry your going through a ahrd time hun, is there anyone you can speak too? Especially if you're pregnant too.
Take care x

I totally understand the cutting-instead-of-crying thing. Which one is more harmful though? Crying is a positive thing even, because its letting things out healthily, instead of doing harm to yourself. Give it a go next time! You might even feel better.

You have options m'dear. You're probably going through a lot of hormone crap at the moment, and there'll probably be even more once the bean is born! Why don't you see if there's a counsellor at your college (or speak to someone at student services), or speak to your doc about seeing someone next time you're there. There's no harm in it, its just talking, but the extra support and help sounds just what you need :)

For some, counting the days without SI works. For others, it just puts more pressure on them. I'm one of those pressure people. I prefer to just write down my last cut date in the back of a book or something, and leave it there. If you have any reminders of your last cut, it does put a lot of pressure on you, there's just no point in counting the days if it does that to you. Its a lot easier to look forward than look back.

You can do this hun, have faith in yourself. We're all here for you, don't feel like you have to suffer on your own.
