Has anyone ever fainted while or after self-harming? x

I've never actually fainted, but i have gone queezy and had all the colour go from my face, feeling like i was going to pass out but never actually did. Happened a couple of times. Hope your okay.

I've felt sick and dizzy and like I might faint but i never actually did. Only happened one time though.

I have passed out after hurting myself but I don't think that it was directly due to that. I've heard you cannot truly faint after or during self-harming but I don't know, I suppose you could due to shock. If you faint due to blood loss then it would, most probably, be adviseable to go to A&E. When I fainted it was more like passing inbetween conscious and unconscious states.

Yes, I have. Not really due to shock I don't think, but possibly blood loss. I took a bunch of aspirin for a bad headache before, and I think that really had an impact though.

I've went into microsleep before (half conscious, half unconscious) that lasted for about half a hour, after I stopped cutting.
