Black user name?
 

I was just wondering what it means when a users posts are still visible but their name has turned black and you cant see their account? Initially i assumed that they had deleted their account but then i thought i remembered reading somewhere that you cant delete an account? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

It does mean their account has been deleted, they cannot do it themselves but admin members can.

oh, ok. so for infractions? or can you ask for your account to be deleted?

If you have a good enough reason then the moderators will consider deleting your account :) Accounts are never deleted due to infractions instead if enough points are accrued then the member will be banned.
