Mommy Week :(
 

i was on FB and someone's status said it was "Mommy Week". ive never heard of it but it still made me really sad.

i called my mom and talked to her about it plus Kelly has been really sweet to me lately. well, she is most of the time :) we went through a rough spot about a year ago but i love her so much and she has dealt with alot from me.

i have been very fortunate to have the support system that i have now. i used to have no one in person. ive always had you guys though.

im getting off topic now. basically, im sad because i miss Keith(nothing new) and this is a pointless post because you all know i miss Keith. i guess there are times when i miss him more and times i miss him less. this is the "more".

Kaleb called me "mommy Rachel" tonight. i didnt know how to react so i just gave him a hug and told him i loved him.

i dont need anything from this really. just venting. however, it is saddening that i see so few replies here in vets. i know its always been pretty slow moving but nothing like it is now. it feels like its fizzling out. i really hope not.

I'm glad you've got a support system around you and things are going better - unfortunately missing Keith is going to be something on-going but it sounds (from this and other posts) that you know that and are working out how to deal with it.

On your last comments - I almost didn't respond because I wasn't sure from the 'just venting' part of the post what response you would welcome from someone who hardly knows you (have read some of your posts over the past couple of years, but that's it). I read that quite often, and tend to take it at face value and not respond - especially when there's nothing I can say except 'I'm sorry you're going through this'. Perhaps that's a factor in the board moving so slowly?
