<3 Some love? <3 [EDIT -- they said section is next, **** this.]

Hey fairyface's,,,

I'm going out to my friends tonight for dinner at his, with my Mum. He's a family friend & knows about my ED, been so supportive, even Sarah loves him! He offered to come see me when I was in the EDU too,,, just I'm so nervous. I don't usually have trouble eating in front of people when I'm alone, but this is going to be a really intimate dinner & eugh, they are both going to be staring at me since I've dropped quite a bit of weight, everyone is worrying & keeping an eye on me & its driving me mad. I know they have good reason, I guess. & Today I bought some pills 'in case things got too much' & I'm afraid that they are :crying:

Hey, gorgeous.

Its good that your going out in the first place, so well done :)

I know its scary, its always the first thing on my mind if i get invited out somewhere, its a tough one.

I havent got anything amazingly good to say, I just wanted to tell you im here & ill be thinking of you.

Maybe just try keep calm think of nice things to distract yourself whilst eating & for a little while after.

If you need to chat latter, fb me, Ill be around if you need.

Take super care of yourself & be gentle, dont push yourself too much & dont worry too much before hand, do something before you go to keep your mind occupied.

Love you.

I can't add more to what Ambs said. Could you get rid of the pills or give them to someone to look after? I know it would be really difficult but you don't need them, I promise.
If you want to talk afterwards you can alwats prod me on FB.
I love you. <3

*hugs*
I don't have much words of encouragement, so sorry about that :(
Other than stay strong, you've got this far and you can keep going, keep fighting for those who love you.
It's just one meal and you can get through it.
It'll be over before you know it :)
Take care

Keyboard Warrior 21-09-2010 06:37 PM

*holds onto and soothes* I'm sorry, Helen, I know how scary this is... & I know this is a hard thought to bear, but do you think you could go into treatment voluntarily to avoid section? If your team think that this would be a good step, then maybe they could support you in working along with them? Sectioning really isn't a good thing to happen but you need the support, sweetheart. <3

[Desolation.] 21-09-2010 06:46 PM

oh helen, thats awful for you but the support you would get is exactly what you need.
i havent got many words right now but hammertime is right.
i hope you're ok hun x

Siouxsie 21-09-2010 06:50 PM

I agree with Chels, can you go voluntarily? I understand your fear because being sectioned is terrifying, but if it's what you need they'll do it petal. Please try to work with them. x

Stellata 21-09-2010 06:53 PM

What are you frightened of about treatment?

MissAnonymous 21-09-2010 07:08 PM

Why are you so adverse to recovery. You seem to be fighting the very people trying to help you. Why is that?x

The One Who 21-09-2010 07:11 PM

You are clearly not fine. If you were they wouldn't be considering a section as an option. You really do need to embrace the help that you are being offered.

Imperfect.Star 21-09-2010 07:11 PM

Sweetie, I'm sorry it was done behind your back but it sounds like you're really not doing well at home so maybe you do need some more IP time. Believe me I know how hard it can be to accept that but this is only itended to keep you safe and get you healthy.

Please please try to look at it from eyes not clouded by an ED.

Cryptic. 21-09-2010 07:17 PM

baby girl i think a section is exactly what needs to be put in place
i was sectioned and trust me when i say it was horrible
you need to try and get better and work with them
mayb not go back to cotswold but somewhere else maybe
i dunno im half asleep
i love you n im sorry things are how they are.

GoldDustReturnz 21-09-2010 07:19 PM

Helen, I know this is a shock & something your scared about, which is why you shut off and go mad, your mums trying to help, I know its the worst way possible & I think sectioning is definitely what you need, I know you want to get better & you know you want to get better, Its just a shame that to get there you have to rummage threw everything youve been trying to get away from for so long.

You know i'm here if you need to chat.
Love you!

All I know is falling. 21-09-2010 07:48 PM

I agree with everybody else, maybe try going voluntarily? You need help, and I'm really sorry to say this, but if you won't do it by yourself..maybe being sectioned is what you need.

Nobody wants to watch you die, Hel, and that's what's going to happen if somebody doesn't step up soon-whether that being you stepping up to recover, or somebody making you.

I love you, and I don't mean this in a mean way.

o_Abbie_o 21-09-2010 08:58 PM

Sectioning could be useful, but try and go in voluntarily like everyone's said, as it tends to be a little bit less stressful.
But whatever happens, try and remember that you need to get better for everyone that cares about you.
Try and stay positive and take care of yourself.
xx
