bird poop
I was walking under a tree on the way to work today, and there was a telltale *plop* on my head.
Agh! Out come the tissues and trying not to let all the people walking the other way see... slather anti-bacterial gel all over everywhere and then make for the station toilets to wash as thoroughly as I could. Thankfully a cleaner was there and he let me in! Embarrassing! For future occasions, any tips on covertly dealing with such a situation decorously lol, would be welcome! Anyone else have any bird poop embarrassments? |
I'm really sorry - but this really amused me!
Last year, I was on a camping holiday with my best friend, and she was on her way to the camp toilets and a bird pooed next to her foot and she thought - ha I missed it! then realised she hadn't, and it was all down her jeans. She was right outside the showerblock, but instead of going in and washing it off, and then telling me about it when she got back to the tent, she ran all the way across the campsite shouting - A BIRD POOED ON ME! LOOK LOOK! at me, and then walked back to the toilets :P |
I believe a bird pooping on you is meant to be lucky.
Whether it is or not, I don't know. Let me know. I don't think I've ever been pooped on by a bird. |
Yeah, a bird pooing on you is meant to be lucky.
So it's a good thing, Katie! :P |
Its supposed to be lucky, but I am yet to be convinced.
This happened when I was at school once and the mean teachers wouldnt let me pop home and wash my hair and come back! So everyone ripped the piss out of me :( Not lucky/ Put a hat in your bag? Its getting colder, it'd work in the winter..? |
In my middle school we had senior pupils, who were like prefects, and we had duties, and one day I was on duty, and we had to ask students where they were going if they came in. This one day, three girls ran in, I opened my mouth to speak and one of them yelled "A BIRD POOD ON HER HEAD!!!" and they ran into the toilet. I giggled for the whole of the rest of lunch.

With this and The Hierophant's kitty litter photos there's been a lot of poopy threads around here today
|
Around here we have vultures. I've never been pooped on, happily, but I have a copy of an irate editorial someone submitted to our community paper last year, complaining about the amount of bird poop on cars, sidewalks, etc. Apparently vultures also vomit a lot...something I didn't know before I moved in here.
Supposedly the uric acid in some birds' poop makes it chemically similar to hand sanitizer. So see, nothing to worry about! :D |
I have never been pooped on but one day when I was driving a bird pooped on my parents car (was so happy I wasnt driving mine at the time)
cuz it was BLUE!!! wtf!!! |
Yeah I was pooped on while walking to volunteer work one day years ago. But it landed on my sleeve.

Used to happen all the time in highschool due to the excessive numbers of seagulls that hung about the yard.
nightmare to get bird poo off a black blazer. A bird also pooed on my boyfriends head once. I found it hilarious when it happened to him. Not so much when it happens to me. |
