Not only your childrens hospital, but the adolescent unit, if your hospital has that.
When I was in hospital, all of the funding went straight to the childrens hospital, meaning that while these 2yr olds had PS2s and xBoxes, the adolescent unit had vidoes that were bought from Oxfam by the nurses. It just gets overlooked, when the funding goes directly to the childrens hospitals. xo |
Old magazines are good for the adolescent wards/units as well.
Teddies and shiz are fine for the youngsters, as are old books and stuff, but really, as Jo says, it's the teens that miss out. They're generally more aware of why they're there, or bored or whatever too. |
