Medical/psychotherapy appointments and possible new job??

I have a work trial at the end of next week and in my interview I said I could do any hours/was entirely flexible. But the truth is, I'm not and it slipped my mind to mention it. I suffer from mental health problems (borderline personality disorder) and am under going weekly psychotherapy appointments in the mornings 1x a week. Obv I am not going to tell them about why I go to medical appointments..

If i get the job after the trial, how do I explain?? when i said i could do anytime. the psychotherapist im seing isnt flexible. or shall i just quit therapy?

How large is the organisation? You should have to fill out an occupational health form and will need to disclose anyway. They will then call you in for a chat-don't worry about it though. They can they organise it so that you can attend appointments as a reasonable adjustment under the DDA.

its not a large company, its a small bar/cafe...but i said i was completely flexible and dont know how to go about it....or i could quit adult services...

Please don't quit. Go and speak to them and say something has come up and you can no longer work at that time. I'd have another word with your therapist. My CP gives me the last slot to help.

Be honest, say you would love to be as flexible as possible and that there is only one time slot in a week when you have a fixed arrangment.
In my opinion, it is better to discuss this with them now and let them know you are sorry for not saying it at the time, you felt eager and as having fixed appointments is fairly new, it did not cross your mind.
Work-places, however big or small have a duty of care to their staff - whether on a flexible contract or not, and I am sure they will be able to find a way to make your hours work for you so that you can do both. There is no reason not to.
Once you have a little more faith in the managers there, and if you are looking to stay it may be wise to pull one aside and go into more detail about your mh, purely so that they are aware and have the opportunity to provide or allow for any support you may need going forward.
