Too many options!
 

I've been looking for a new job for ages now, and had a few months of no luck so applied to loads and loads of jobs in one hit.

I had a second interview today for one of them, which went quite well, just waiting to hear back. It's a job similar to the one I'm in now, but a lot closer to home and with a MASSIVE payrise. Job looks OK, possibly a bit dull but it's what I do now so know it will be OK and I'm capable of doing it without too much hassles.

I got back from the second interview, and had an email in my inbox from a job I applied for ages ago asking me to go in for an interview. It's a tiny little payrise, but again nice and local, and could potentially be an awesome job doing something I know I love (writing content for the website of a large national bookseller). I've agreed to go along to the interview next week.

Believe it or not, about 10 minutes ago I had a voicemail from someone who had previously offered me a job that I declined. The job looks interesting, but I'm not sure on the guy, the location (train only with really bad train times meaning I'd get home late)... it's a pretty good payrise (not as good as job 1, but better than job 2). But he wants to "rediscuss" things so I guess potentially there might be more money in it.

I'm not complaining, having good stuff on the cards is awesome... BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

go to all the interviews anyway.
see which ones you get accepted for and then work out which is best suited to you. its a good ting you have so many options. it means you have a better chance of doing the job that will make you most happy

Yea, I'm going to go to this other interview before making a decision... it's just my head's feeling a bit inundated with info, and fried!

Like having to make excuses.. if I get offered the job I interviewed for today, I'll have to "put off" answering them until I know if I've got this other job I'm interviewing for next week so I can make an informed decision etc etc

Argh! Like buses! :D I'm sure it'll work out, just a tad confused atm! :)

Well, I didn't get the job I had a second interview for, so although it's disappointing (was going to get a new car with that payrise!), it's sort of made life easier!

Going to really go for this copywriting job, as tbh I think it will be perfect for what I want to do. If I don't get it, I guess I have the previously declined job to fall back on...

Hmmm. "Meh" job with MASSIVE payrise (will be able to afford a brand new Alfa Mito Cloverleaf HNGH) but slightly shitty location and unsure on new boss.

Or really local, pretty much dream job with no real payrise. Hmm.

I know what I should do... but it would be so nice to pay off my debts then get a new car/holiday etc...
