it's been a while
 

It's been a while since I have posted or started a thread in Vets but I am wanting to come back more often.

I usually lurk and post in the ED forum then secondly the SI forum but there are some things that adults have more experience on than teenagers (no disrespect meant to any teenagers out there!)

I'm having a lot of problems at the moment and until today I hadn't made my own thread for nearly two years (I think) and today I've ranted in R&V, started a thread in the ED forum and now on here!

I guess I just wanted to reintroduce myself here because its been so long and say hi to everyone. I thought it may be weird you guys seeing a new name suddenly posting out of the blue!

I'm 28, anorexic, a self harmer, I have BPD and manic depression. I have suicidal tendancies too. Oh and my name is Lydia but more often Liddy

I'm sorry you've not had any replies to this - i only just noticed it.
So i wanted to say 'hello' and tell you that you're not alone.

It sometimes seems like everything comes at us at once and it can help to step back and try to break everything down into more manageable chunks.

Thanks for your replies guys. Sorry it has taken ME so long to reply.

I was admitted to my local psychiatric hospital last Wednesday (hence my lack of replying) voluntarily but ended up running off and taking a serious OD. I was in general hospital for 5 days and only got out yesterday. Today I had to convince 3 doctors that I didn't need sectioned or kept in hospital which I managed to do (god knows how). I'm back home now so any support would be great (I can now access RYL anytime) because I'm still feeling shaky and ill.
