I used to be your princess
Your little golden girl
I could do no wrong
Id always make you smile

now it seems that's changed
Im still your litte girl
But a burden upon you
That's how I feel

I know that youl denie it
Youl never say its true
But look at all the upset
Iv brought upon you

You don't need this now
Nor have you ever
I want to make it better
I can't do this forever

Im sorry that iv hurt you
And also made you cry
This was never an ending
Just a goodbye

Staring out the window
I see them run and play
Shouting and screaming
Smiles of fun and glee

I know their only young
But do they ever wonder
The mystery of life
The lightning and thunder

Are they really happy?
That mystery is mine
Do they smile eventhough they pine

I cannot undersatand it
The way the world goes round
Happyness is simple
But I only hear the sound.

we don't know how or why
but it seems like life
has somehow passed me by.

Everyday I wake up wishing to be free
something inside me says 'youl never be'
I know it isn't true and it dosent make sense
but sometimes I believe it,
not even past tense.

I know you really care but things change
itl be easy.
