Lorazepam?
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section..
Has anyone been on Lorazepam? How did it work for you and did you have any side effects? I was just prescribed it for my anxiety and I've read a little about it but I want to get some feedback first... |
I was on Lorazepam 2 weeks or so ago for the second time.
It didn't do much for my severe anxiety disorders, it did help me more get to sleep. Good luck on it but I'd be aware tolerance builds up very quickly & addiction to it is a high possibility. It's usually used for short term use due to these problems. |
I found it quite short acting.
It worked to calm me rather quickly but a few hours later it would wear off quickly. It is very addictive and I only had it in hospital and they limited the giving of it for the addictive reason. |
i was on it over my admission period but i didn't think it worked that well as i was still having regular episodes of panic and madness or maybe more as they would keep increasing the dosage, however the longer i took it for the easier it go and episodes got weaker, so you would have to persevere with it

I was on it when I was IP and it helped a little but not too much. It calmed me down a bit though.
|
I've had it as prn but prefer clonazepam. I think it can be helpful to slow down your thoughs. I'm not sure how all the dosages work out, but when I've taken 2mg and not eaten i feel really spacey and disoreinated. I think it would be good for anxiety though because ive found it doesnt leave you really sedated or anything. Good luck with it =]

To be honest with me when I was given it in hospital it just really knocked me out, I slept one heck of a lot.
|
When i was on it, it really helped me but did make me sleep a hell of a lot.
good luck. xxxxxx |
