voices being triggered
 
i have pshycosis, i am on 300mg of anti pshycotic medication,
i live in a childrens home with 4 other kids and there is always 4 staff on shift,
my problem is that the voices are triggered really easerly,
if people are shouting (or even talking loud) it sets them off,
loud noise i9s enevitable here, and i dont know what to do,
even when im alone in my room and otheres are downstares and shouting it sets them off,,,, what can i do

Have you been on meds recently or for a while? Can you talk to your docs about it? You definitely need a review on your meds before things might get worse. Stay well there

apart from go back and get the meds reviewed, I mean I guess you could get earplugs for evenings and stuff like when you just want to be alone - some earplugs are really good now and you wouldn't be able to hear anything pretty much. orrr can you play music loudly?

i think i have a meds reveiw on the 1st of next month, ive been on meds for 3 years, yeah i might try the ear plugs. thanks guys

Try listening to music loudly? Not only will drown the people out around you it will drown out the voices.
