My friends forgot my birthday :(
 

Today was my 21st. My family was great. They gave me lots of pressies and my brother made me 'birthday pancakes' for breakfast. My gran rang me, like 4 times. But did I hear from any of my friends??? Nope. Only one friend that I havent spoken to in ages messaged me, then called me. But even my best friends, nothing. I dont care what their excuses are right now. I think I need to re-evaluate my life, and see just who really does care about me. Even a simple message and they couldnt do it. Wow, dont i feel loved. I need new friends :(

*hugs* Yeah, I know how that feels. :( I think all I heard from any friends on my last birthday was one facebook message and a phone call from a creepy guy who I'd really rather not have heard from, and nothing the year before that. But that's not so much that my friends don't care as that I never told them when my birthday was or reminded them it was coming up, and I didn't have a birthday party or anything. I think probably it's not that your friends don't care about you, but just that most people don't remember these things without being reminded a lot (like every day for a few weeks).

I wouldn't worry too much about it though, I tend to remind people a good 2-3 weeks in advance my birthdays coming, so if they do forget they know some righteous butt kickings are in order :D :D
Maybe it's different for you but with guys we just tend to buy eachother a pint as a present, girls do tend to be slightly more fussy though :P
Seriously though have a great day, don't worry about anything but yourself for one day at least! And you better not be reading this today but tomorrow afternoon while recovering from an awesome party.

Sorry about your friends, have you tried speaking to them about it? It's possible they did genuinely just forget, and I know it still feels bad but they probably didn't mean to upset you and just had sometihng else on their minds *hugs*
