she's coming back she's coming back!!!

I dont know I am really posting this to be honest but I am just so happy and excitied that I had to tell someone!!!

For the past 6 months I have had to see a different gp cuz mine had gone on maternity leave
this was really hard for me as I had form a close relationship with her and then to suddenly be passed onto someone else... and with that person also being a male...

after each time I saw him I felt so triggered and most times I ended up hurting myself afterwards

I did try so much to not too... even making threads before I saw him - but nothing seemed to help

but this arvo I was told that my amazing gp comes back to work on 31st may :-D

I am just so excited... she's coming back like she promised... she is ACTUALLY coming back :hop:

...but now... making it through till then... I dont know what to do... how to make it for another month

and I'm scared... what if she is different now... what if she isnt the same as what she was before :s

...maybe it would be easier if I just turned my back and saved her the hassle of trying to 'get' me through this...

I just wish my head would shut up... I was happy when I first started this thread but now I just keep thinking of everything that could go wrong

I'm scared :crying:

I'm glad to hear the GP you trust is coming back. It sounds very important for you and I'm sure all the things your mind is imagining up won't happen. She is still going to be the same, caring GP she always was and if anything she is likely to have improved.

I know it is hard for you to think of getting through the next month so perhaps it would be better for you to not view it as a whole month and take it in more manageable chunks, eg a daily thing or weekly.

I hope it passes quickly for you :)

Hugs. I think that you should go through with it and see her when she comes back. She will still care.

*Hugs* I am glad to hear your GP is coming back, it's so much easier when you can see someone you feel able to trust. It's understandable you feel the way you do but she will still be the same. Hold on there hun, you will get through this. Take care

Glad to hear she's coming back sweetheart, I agree with Kat it does make things easier when you have a good relationship with them, I know that you've not had much luck with the people filling in for her. And it is understandable to be apprehensive but I'm sure that she will still be the person that you remember *hugs* It might even be an idea to talk to her about how you are feeling if you feel able

that's great news Lozza,it made my weekend when you told me on Friday. You are a very loveable, careable [not that that's a word] chick, and your GP will be as supportive as she ever was hun.

*cuddles tight until 31 May*
xx
