CPA review (update post 5)

I have my CPA review next week and I'm really dreading it. I haven't had on in ages, like maybe 2+ years.
I have a new (ish) worker and she has arrranged it.

I last saw the Pdoc in Sept when my (rubbish) temp worker made me go and she had already told him stuff from her side and he asked how my eating and what was I doding to lose weight and I thought "sod it I'll tell him the truth".
So I told him I was abusing laxitives, diurectics, diet pills exercising more and restricting my intake.

He congratualted me for my effort. Saying I was doing doing really well etc and said he would see me again in 12 months.

I told him what I did as I was struggling to believe what my GP was saying about the dangers etc.
But this left me even more confused and unsure of which Dr to listen to.
I get on with my GP really well and was wanting to believe her but it was/is hard.
So I carried on doing the same thing.

I have always struggled with male 'professionals' and always ask for a female Dr. This request was not listened to last time and I got 2 male Dr's in the room which freaked me out.

So I worryign again that this time I'm seeing the male Dr I didn't get on with last time and that he will confuse me more about my eating.

I can't see me managing to open up to him at all.

I'm seeing my worker the day before review but I a still in new/early days with her and finding it hard to open up.
I feel like I'm gonna get it all wrong. Totally wrong.

Anything that could help?

*edit sorry this is long :s

my CMHT has this form that they're starting to give people before their CPAs, which asks some questions that you can write down the answers to and give to your care co-ordinator so she can bring up the points at the meeting. perhaps you can ask your social worker if she has such a form, or just write down your thoughts and share them with her in the appointment before your CPA.

Thats a good idea.
I just go the whole Dr is a **** thing in my head. Esp after the last app with him.
He wanted me to get another voluntary job. I was actually on leave from active duty due to acute aneamia and yet despite the fact I normally can do up to 16 hours a week he thought it wasn't enough.
I'm often falling apart with work and finding it hard despite loving it.

I hope I don't get the same convo with him.

Update :)

So I saw my SW today and explained how I was dreading seeing the Dr esp after last time I saw him. And I'd much prefer a female Dr etc etc.
She agreed! Said it was clearly upsetting me enough to cancel the appointment tomorrow!

She is going to make an appointment with a female Dr for a month or so time.

Am so relieved. I was so anxious I had to have diazepam before seeing her today as I wasn't sure I'd be able to express my worry over the review.

Sorry you got so stressed over this but I'm glad they sorted it out for you :)
I know doctors can be awful sometimes, I'd definitely be dreading it if I had to see the one you saw! Hope the female doc is much better for you :)
