The Color Purple - Whoopi Goldberg
 

I'm about to watch it. I roughly watched it at a friends house but I thought it was amazing. Whoopi Goldberg is the main character and she's a wonderful actress. I love her in Sister Act 1 + 2, Girl, Interrupted, Jumping Jack, Corina Corina. Just thought I'd start a thread about the movie and Whoopi.

I really hope no one ignores my thread like that usually do!

I have never seen the film, I got the book deliveded to me last week so if I enjoy the book I will likely get the film! Think it was cheap the last time I saw it in WHSmith. Tell us what you thought of the film once you have watched it!!
