clomipramine / anafranil
 

hello

i accidently made my thread about this in the self injury forum and didn't get many replies....

i was needing any information people could provide who have taken clomipramine/anafranil as i was/am quite nervous about my prescription.

since then i have decided to try it, so i am in the process of a med change.

i was still wondering if anyone could share their experiences of this drug.

please help if you can!

I have been on clomipramine and if I'm totally honest, I hated it because I felt zombified.
But I really hope it works well for you!

I don't want to put you off, so please remember that everyone has different experiences to different medications. When I was on it quite afew years ago, I would fall asleep maybe an hour after waking up in the morning (I was completely knocked out), I felt weak all over, found it difficult to read (blurred vision) and felt dizzy a lot. However I must admit my doses were increased quite quickly so maybe my body wasnt able to adjust to the amount of the medication in my system. Good luck with it.

I have been on it for quite a few years now. It helps me and i haven't had any side effects.

I'm taking it for depression.
