The Glass Girl
 

The mirror, freshly cleaned. The mirror is hell.
The mirror get mad, throwing an angry reflection at her.
Ugly.
She punches the mirror, shards fly.
Crimson fist, crimson glass.
Ruby shards glittering on the ground.
She picks one up in a red hand.
Squeeze it harder, harder, harder.
No. Drop it.
She drops it.
Ruby glass on ruby glass, rubies on the ground.
Crystal tears on porcelain skin.
Ruby glass on the ground.
She walks away, the girl made of glass.
She's going to be free.
No more rubies for the girl made of glass.
