Pancakes
 

So just wondering is anyone going to make pancakes tomorrow!!!??!?

i so wish i was at home!!! me and my mum and brother usually make them every year!! :):)

and when i was younger me and my counsins about 10 of us went up to my grannies house and used to make them with her!!! and eat them too of course lol!!!! she has a big old stove and they were lush!!

im at uni so probs wont bother making them we will see!!!

hmm... would be making them... but our oven and hob are broken (ave been for over a week) so can't make anything that needs anything other than the slow cooker...

Ive just bought the eggs and flour.....

no oven :-( lol i not got any scales!! :( and i dont have the money to buy them!!!! *silly scholarship not coming through* lol

I've been lazy this year and bought sweet pancakes.

I'll just zap 'em tomorrow.

grr... I really want pancakes tomorrow now...


how can I make them with a rice/slow cooker?

I bought some 'Betty crocker pancake mix', American style. yum!

How have you never heard of pancake day before?!?! It's like one of the best days of the year and it's the day before lent!

It really annoys me that I can't eat them.
They always smell amazing.

I'll make them for my Dad though :)

I'm having some friends over and my mum is going to make pancakes for everyone! Its an excuse to eat some rubbish before I give up sweet things for lent :)

We've never had pancakes on Pancake Day =[
Mum doesn't like them, so she won't cook them, and I'm just too useless to try.

i can't eat them either unless they're wheat free which would be possible but not much point making the effort on my own..

It's strange that people especially buy ingredients, the idea is to use up what you already have at the start of lent. Another festival hijacked by commercialism I suppose. :(
