Rant Rant Rant
I don't really know why I''m typing this.. I'm confused.. I am urging badly.. I feel like no one wants to help me stop cutting. My mom knows I cut, but she doesn't seam to understand how severe this is.. And then that counselor I had as school.. She doesn't reply to my emails any longer.. Everyone around me that cuts is stopping or getting help.. But for some reason, I don't get to enjoy what they are going through.
My friend Tajah, she was the one that introduced me to cutting, and now she has stopped and has the 'happy pill' to make her feel better. But I can't even get a therapist, much less get help to feel better. Out of depression.. I can't really say much more.. I dunno what else to say.. Also.. If you wanna help me.. My MSN is yaoi_kawaii123@hotmail.com and my email is yaoi_kawaii123@yahoo.com Bye... |
Things all sound very difficult for you. Unfortunately, when it comes to therapists you have to do a lot of the work. They cannot just cure you, it requires dedication and hard work, with faith and belief that you can. What do you think seeing the therapist would do for you?- Now I am not saying it won't help as it always helps to talk to someone, you just have to change your frame of mind into wanting to help yourself somehow.
What is the reason you self-harm? I know your friend introduced you to it, maybe she was the reason you kept going. You could maybe try to talk to her, she is recovered and I bet she has experienced similar feelings to what you do. It is difficult when you feel everyone is abandoning you, but try and see the positive side to all of this. Try and help yourself. Take care xx |
I started cutting because of curiusity and I was really sad and just stabbed myself over and over... And yea...
I've tried everything else as well. |
It must be hard watching them all succeed in stopping while you're still struggling but maybe you can talk to your friends. Even if you can't go to a therapist maybe your friends can provide support and sort of coach you along as you try to stop. Can you try and sit down and explain to your mom how bad you're feeling and that the cutting is serious? I don't know, maybe the actualy injuries aren't that bad so she shrugs it off- but maybe you can explain that it isn't the cutting itself that's dangerous but the emotions and feelings that cause it. If you want to try and stop- maybe can you wear a rubberband around your wrist and snap it lightly when you feel like cutting (not hard enough to leave a welt though)- that way you get a small amount of pain but its less harmful than cutting. Try taking baby steps and maybe you'll find you're feeling better eventually. :) I hope things start to look up for you- if you ever want to talk I'm happy to listen. Feel free to PM me.
