Modern Warfare 2
Anyone play online?
And are you any good? I'm open to challenges on there. I'd like to say i'm pretty good myself. |
You have to pay to get a dedicated server=me not touching that game with a 100 foot long pole.
|
Only one person, seriously.
|
I have it
|
If you're not one of those
Anyway, I'd rather play TDM with you than 1v1. It also helps to know if you play on 360 or PS3. :3 On MW2 I'm decent. My games are inconsistent. Some games I'll go +15, others I'll only break even. =/ I miss CoD4. That game actually required skill. |
I play. But on PC. Dual shotguns are crap now they've patched them. The Dual M93's are worse than the shotguns, luckily not many people use them (But I do, with the M21 silenced)
|
Akimbo UMP's are my weapon of choice, one UMP is almost the most powerful gun in the let alone two. If I wasn't using them in a Marathon Pro class I would have Bling Pro and Akimbo/Rapid Fire them, it would absolutely slay.
|
Atm, i'm trying to master the FAMAS, it's hell trying to get the bullet penetration kills to count. (On 10 outta the 40 needed)
|
I usually use my knife class (Marthon pro, lightweight pro, commando pro) but some times I branch off and use a sniper rifle.
360 GT : H4rv357 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMF1h8MRQpA]Only game that I have recorded for MW2[/ame] |
I have a capture card. =) It records straight onto my computer.
You need something of a set up though. You have the tv, 360, and laptop, with the capture card acting as the median between all three. Something like this. Sorry that video is boring. My CoD4 ones have more action. =/ |
I play on the 360. I'm not great but I'm not HORRIBLE either. I tend to switch between a few different weapon setups. Working on getting my USP Tactical Knife, but I am thoroughly enjoying Lightweight with akimbo FMJ USPs. My pet peeves on the game: Javelin glitch (thankfully this has been patched), dual Rangers/Models, heartbeat sensors and guys who use RPGs/n00b tubes non-stop. I tend to play Domination if I'm in a party and Mercenary TDM if I don't have anyone online who wants to play. Headquarters was fun on COD4 but I'm not as big of a fan of it on MW2.

I swear they supposedly patched the Model 1887s to not have so much range, but after playing last night for an hour or so, I don't think they did... Sooo sick of guys camping your spawn with dual Models.

360 FTW.
|
got it for PC, just hit level 66. I typically play like a total asshole. 1 of 3 classes. Double shotgun with stopping power marathon and commando. TAR with grenade launcher, thumper, with scavenger, danger close, and commando. Or my real class, Machine gun, with scavenger, stopping power, and steady aim.

I just hit 67 and unlocked the 1887. I like it, but I'll never akimbo it. |

Akimbo Rangers are just as deadly as Models, just not at the same range. Steady Aim/Akimbo Models is actually really good, especially combined with Sleight of Hand. It's just not fun when they are either camping your spawn with them, or nobody on your team has anything to combat against them. As far as shotguns are concerned though, my favorite is the M1014 with the Grip.
Starting to like the .44 Magnum more and more. The 6 shot capacity definitely evens it out against the other handguns, but anywhere on the body requires no more than 3 shots for a kill. Bling Pro/Lightweight/Steady Aim (or Commando Pro) with Akimbo/FMJ USP .45s was quite fun on some of the smaller levels with close-quarters fighting. |
