Heya all

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD and I'm
just finding it really hard to come to terms with I got put on meds but thry made me sik so I refused to take them and they want me to try diffrent meds but I refuse and they all saying my behaviour is all over the place and I'm been manic and they are talking about hospital and don't think I can cope seems I'm stuffed what ever I do guess I'm just having a rant and don't really expect anyone to reply

thats a horrible situation *hugs*, a friend of mine has ADHD and so do most of her children and she manges to cope really well on medication so you can live with it! you just have to try and work with them, why do you not what to take the other medication they are offering you?

I just don't wAnna be feeling like I'm drugged up and if i take any medication then it makes me wanna overdose

Yet I would rwather b more in control but I don't feel that even with Meds I would be

i have adhd, non medicated. it can be coped with. i dont think ive heard of being hospitalized for adhd before though. anyway, talk to ur doc about coping with adhd and ways to cope.

There is a lot of medication out there for ADHD sweetheart, so even though the first medication made you unwell it is possible that other medications wouldn't make you feel that way or perhaps even if they lowered the dosage.

With regards to the overdosing, could your Mum look after your medication for you and only give you enough medication for the day. Or you could look in to getting a weekly prescription.

I'm currently been decided if my psychologist is the right person to help me but I do feel I need someone talk to who actually gets what I'm sayin

I'm gonna talk to my psychologist tomorow and when I see my psychiatrist I'm gonna aslo talk to them

How did it go with the Psychologist hun?Hope it was ok.

I hope you manage to find the right support/medication eventually.

It must be really hard but please try to stick this tough time out and cope as well as you can.
