feel so awful, wat can i do..?
 

iv been feelig so depressed lately. i dont want to go out or see anyone, i cant concentrate and now i cant sleep at all, im getting like 2 hours sleep tops a night. i dont want to keep bothering my doc because i have actually lived their lately with other physical problems, and i dont see what else they can do, im already on the top dose of antidepressant which iv been on for yrs. i try to make myself go out and be sociable, but now i just feel like i really cant face anything, like im not strong enough to do anything. im meant to be studying but i just feel like im wasting all my time sitting aboout doing nothing. what can i do to feel better? any ideas?

If you are not sleeping, and your AD no longer seems to cover your needs, the best thing you can do is go to speak with your Dr or therapist.

It may be that the AD needs changing or that you need a temporary sleeping tablet to help you get back into sleep routines - as a lack of sleep can be detrimental to moods and may be what is making you feel worse.

Are you under the care of a cmht at all? If not, it may be worth asking your Dr for a referral as you may find counselling helpful as well as the ADs.

it isn't 'bothering' your doc - thats what theyre there for :)
what if you tried getting some counselling/ therapy or at least having an assessment and being put on a waiting list?

my surgery say they dont like to give out sleeping pills annoyingly, and i have tried seeing a psycholoigst but i really didnt get on with her and there isnt anyone else :(
