letting everybody down.

had my second cbt appointment today and i decided to not go anymore. uni set it up and were paying for it, so now i feel like i am letting down all the staff at uni who are trying and i have just given up on myself.

also i od last week and i eventually told my friends they got angry with me and then upset and i felt really guilty about letting them down.

i've seen 4 different counsellors in the past and have never got past 3 sessions, i think maybe i am scared of getting help and also i have given up on myself so i dont see the point. also they never seem to be quite right, i'm not sure if thats just me being stupid, but does it take along time to find the right counsellor for you, and i feel that talking really doesnt help, what other help is available.

It does take time to find the right person. The thing is not to give up looking for that person because when the relationship is right it can change everything.

As long as you keep an open mind about getting help and looking for the right person then you won't be letting down those friends or uni. All everyone wants is for you to be well and happy.

I hope when the time is right you will try again and find that special someone to sit with you and work through things. In the meantime, please take care *hug*

i told my friends about not going back to the cbt again, they seemed pretty angry and asked me to explain i send it was complicated and they wouldnt understand but then they got worse and then just sort of stopped talking to me then went off and dicussed it.
