burnt again
 

I have been good for 2 months.. but last night I lost it... burnt my arm and now I really regretting it... gotta go to work tomorrow..if I wear long sleeves they will guess and talk about me and if i don't they will see my burn . I burnt my other arm in jan and it still scarred .. what do I do ???:sad:

Firstly, congratulations on two months!

It seems like whichever option you choose your work will guess something is up. To be honest it would depend whether you would rather they speculate about the sleeves with no evidence (this may be easier to defend), or whether you would rather try and make excuses about the wound. Personally I would be inclined to wear sleeves and make excuses, i.e I don't feel great, am coming down with something etc etc, but it is up to you.

Whatever you decide, try to remember that at the end of the day it is none of your colleagues business! You have done exceedingly well to manage two months free and this does not have to mean the end of your recovery. Be proud of your progress. Try and say 'sod it' to whatever anyone else has to say. You are doing well.

not that easy ...i could lose my job ..might take stress leave

Your employers cannot legally dismiss you for having mental health issues. They would be breaking the Disability Discrimination Act ( to name one out of several) if they did so. I live in the UK but am sure other countries will have similar legislation.

I don't know what you expect people to say to be honest. If you do not feel able to be open with your employers or to wear sleeves then maybe stress leave is the best option but only you will know that. Why are you so against speaking to your employer about what is going on?
