mood swings- help please
 

ok so ive suffered from depression for years on and off and am now on antidepressants, which seem to be helping for the most part. ive had a tentative diagnosis of bipolar (mild form not fullon) and on the weekend i had a bit of an "episode", id been a bit manic all week then went to this party and was outrageously flirtatious with all the guys, ignored my bf and his brother who id brought to the party and basically caused havoc (so ive been told, dont member most of it). were still together but hes said that if it happens again hes gone...and i dont want that..then today ive been feeling all exhausted and depressed and i dont know what to do, but i want to be better so i dont put him thru that agian. Any replies much appreciated thanx:)

I think you should speak to your doctor about this. If it's SSRI anti depressants then they may be causing mania and it might be helpful for you to take a mood stabiliser along with it or subtract the anti depressant.

I think you need to go back to your GP and explain in full what's been going on. Who was it that gave you your "diagnosis"?
