How do I find out how many ifnraction points I have?

They're on your profile page, you'll know if you get infractions as you get a private message also. If you're still confused PM a mod as only mods and you can see the infractions - but they're hard to miss on your own profile.

i don't understand about the points "expiring."
because since the beginning of v3 i think i've had 6 points or 8 points maybe but they've all expired.

6 points doesnt expire 6 weeks later by the way!xx

So when does 6 points expire?

I thought it did Liv, rules page gives me this imperssion?

But. It's messy when it still shows up and i don't actively have any points, 'tis rather annoyin'.

Each point equals a week in length. So if you get 6 points they expire in 6 weeks.

yeah soph that means they have 9 'free points' to play with, before a ban. so you can get up to nine.

i've never got the points system from when v3 begun i always though the whole 6 point 6 weeks expire gets knocked down a point each week.

never understood the 9 free points. so i just gave up i've got no points now yay. a warning but that means sod all to me. I had my reasons so i'll stick to them. I just "nod and agree now" with points.

It also makes it sound like when you first register you have 9 points to play with before you get a ban.
But its everytime you get reset back to 0 points.

this thread has just massively confused me...

does that mean that if someone has 9 active points as their only points.. they dont get any bannage because they were their 'free' points?

what if they get 6 more points whilst their other points are active? does that count as a total of 15 points or 6 points?

The point system has always confused me and the rules don't make it clear at all. If we have points to play with we could do something worth 9 points and nothing happens that just seems odd to me. Surely if you do something that bad then the points won't just disappear?

Yeah but you get 9 points to play with so posting porn is 9 points and nothing will happen as you are using your free points and you have none left do you then need to build up another 9 from rule breaking to get the day ban? as that is what i get from reading the rules.
