Being Referred *Triggering*
 

I have been referred to the mental health services where i live. I had to go to my GP over the self harm. Its things that have happened to me since i was very young that have upset me and make me feel so low. I can understand why they happened.
As i work with children and i spoke to my manager asking for sometime to sort things out, she has said that she has to speak to the director, and if it is felt it would affect my work hours, and work then she wouldnt be able to continue my employment. I love my job and the fab people i work with. Just things in my past i need to deal with to move on in life. She cant get rid of me can she? Not sure weather posted in right place sorry x

I'm not sure if she can do that or not. I would suggest speaking to someone at your local citizens advice bureau to check.

How long have you worked there, surely you have a contract and they can not terminate your contract for medical reasons. If you self harm, that is not grounds in any sense for them to dismiss you, please talk to cab or someone in work, don't let them bully you into anything.
