broken?
 

I think i have broken my knuckle ....

It's briused and very swolen and very sore.

I'm going to A and E in the morning to be sure.
I'm just wondering if that visit is worth making ?
And if it is broken, what treatment to expect?

If you think it is broken then yes the journey is worth making. Depending onthe type of break will depend upon the treatment. Simple breaks can result in having casts or support bandages on wheres as more complex one require surgery. it all depends but you will get an xray when you go in to determine if it is broken.

In the mean time you should rest the knuckle an apply ice (wrapped in a towel) to it for 10 mins every hour to help elivate the swelling. If you can take ibprofen you might also want to take some of that to help with swelling.

I've had paracetamol cos i can't take anything else.

any break needs to be looked at.. you are always better to be safe than sorry
