seroquel side effects.
Ive been on seroquel (quetiapine) for many many months now.
Ive been having intense aches/pain in my toes and sometimes feet. I have tried heat, ice, muscle relaxers....no help. Is there something i can do?? Is 2 AM and im exhausted but cant sleep because it hurts. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! thanks romp |
mmm i believe i remember reading in the leaflet that it can cause muscular problems - i've recently had a lot of restless leg syndrome which i think is due to the Quetiapine.
I usually rub gel (for muscular pain) into my legs - so long as it doesn't play up with any of your other meds you could try that. If that doesn't work you've pretty much exhausted all options..if it's becoming unbearable it might be worth contacting your psych x |
speak to your doctor.
they will advise you on what to do and maybe even change the med i find my legs jump about alot after taken it and walking helps |
you already seem to have tried most things we would suggest.
if it is keeping you up then you need to speak to your doctor who prescribes it for you to see if they can offer any help. |
How long have the pains been going on?
|
I ben on quetiapine 2 years and get restless legs, my cpn said the other day quinnine helps, so she told me to drink tonic water or something else which should help it....
Hope your okay x |
