Harry Potter comes out on the 15th of July! I've got my tickets for that night.... I've also got my tickets for the Saturday!!!

I havnt seen the preview for harry potter yet... but am sure it is good and I can't wait til it comes out at cinemas

I'm actually really excited about this. Will be re-reading the book this week. Eep. Bit wary though 'cause the movies tend to ruin my views on the books. HBP and DH are my fave now but seeing the movies may change that...

Movies are never as good, but it is virtually impossible to do justice on the books, as they are simply sublime. I do enjoy watching the films nonetheless and will be going to a midnight showng, as soon as it comes out....

Bit off topic but anybody else find that if they watch the movie first then read the book they get a different reaction to it being the other way around?

With Harry Potter I've never had that problem, books all ready with 24 hours of them coming out.

With other movies you can obtain a different reaction yeah. If we take: MY Sisters keeper as an example. I've just bought the book, not read it but I have seen the film, I thought the film was excellent, but now I will need to see how it compares to the book.

yeah i seem to like movies much more if i saw them first. which tbh hardly ever happens.

Hmm. I don't know whether I'm going to watch this. The books (and movies) stopped interesting me after The Goblet Of Fire. They just got boring...

SO excited about it - still raging they put the date back but hopefully it lives up to expectation (though i will be howling like a baby at the end!!!)

no midnight showings where i live so going to book for 9am
