First time sex
 

Ok so last night I got drunk and had sex. I'm pretty sure we used a condom (I know definatly the first time we did) but i'm on the pill (although I do miss it sometimes but hadn't missed it for atleast a week) I'm not bothered about being pregnant though cuz i know it's pretty unlikely and if i'm old enough and mature enough to have sex i'm old enough and mature enough to deal with the consequences...anyway i'll get to the point.

It really hurt, like really hurt and even now, probably almost (or is) 24hours after now and it still hurts to sit down properly and to go to the toilet (number 1 and 2)

Last night at like 5am I went for a poo and there was loads of blood in the toilet like the water was red. It scared me alot but I chatted to my mum about it although she was still alseep and just mumbled "you'll be ok" but she thinks its odd that i still hurt downstairs. I don't think there's been anymore blood since about 8am. I just want to know really, how long 'should' it hurt? and when shall I start to get worried about it?

You said in the title "first time sex" but you didn't mention it again, so just to clarify, that was the first time you had intercourse?

If so, some bleeding is normal becuase of your hymen being broken. It's also normal to be sore for a couple of days afterwards. You should be concerned if the bleeding continues, or gets heavier (unless your period is due). I mean consistent bleeding, as it's normal to have spotting occasionally. Also if the pain doesn't start to subside in a couple of days or get worse.

As had been said before if this was your first time then the bleeding is most likely a result of the breaking of your hymen. as for the pain it can be a result of it being your first time having sex and if the person you had sex with was of sizable stature then that could explain it also since the vaginal linning and area are quite tight and gets stretched with sexual intercourse. I hope you get to feeling better. You also might try finding a market or pharmacy that sells sitz baths, these are whate we give woman who have given birth and are sore down below to relieve the pain.

hi i dunno how much this is going to help or if it will help at all...but you said in your post title about 'first time sex' and then i read about you hurt and stuff...well i'm not sure if there could be anything wrong...but i know that when i had sex for the first time it hurt really bad and i couldnt sit down or anything like that comfortably for about 2 days or maybe more i cant remember...maybe its like that for all girls or maybe not, maybe some girls dont hurt as much as others but i just wanted to let you know that i hurt for quite a bit first too. and i bled a little as well...but now alot and i donly bled for about 2 times when i went toilet....if that makes sense...ah its really late and i'm falling asleep at the keyboard XD but i hope that helps or makes you feel better *hugs*

It is perfectly normal to be hurting. I remember my first time, I was rather young, and I actually had to tell him to stop, it hurt so bad, my hymen didn't break that time because I couldn't let it last long enough before I was about to start crying from pain! When my hymen did break, I remember only bleeding when I went to the restroom, but I think it only did it the first time I went and after that there was nothing. Take some pain reliever and I hope you get to feeling better.

The pain shouldn't take long to stop. My first time was pretty painful, and its not unusual for it to hurt for a while after. *hugs*

My first time was *so* painful. Thankfully I was with someone who was very patient and caring and didn't push me too much. I bled for a few days and was sore for quite a few too. It took quite a few more goes before I got comfortable having sex, and occasionally (depending on where I am in my time of the month) sex still hurts now.
