RYL Forums - Update..

I hope this is in the right forum. This is part rant and part update.

Much to my frustration, I haven't been posting as much. I've been having many computer problems for about a month and a half, having taken it in to be repaired three times, resulting in my not having computer access for weeks at a time except at the library. They've replaced my motherboard twice, and still it's messed up.
So now it's been approved for a no lemon, which is basically a replacement. But the ****ed up thing is that they only give you store credit for a new computer based on the specs! Which is only $399. And I the original price was over $1,000. AND they said my warrenty (which costed another $300) is no longer in existence because they argue "Weeeell, you're getting a brand new computer and that's better that your warrenty". And that warrenty (which, again, costed $300 and wouldn't be up until January of next year) won't even carry over to a new computer. I say it's a hell of alot of wasted money. They say, "you're getting a new computer. Be happy with that." ****ing rip off.
My computer is very important to me. I do ALOT of things on it including editing digital photography, composing and mixing my music, and coming here when I'm having a hard time. Which I have been.
Basically I say there's no way I'm going to get a $400 computer that's crap. So now I will be without a computer until I save up another $500 to get a nice computer, like I had before. And I'll only be able to access the internet once a day (except Sunday!) at the library and their 30 minute time limit. Which really sucks right now because I really need this place. Like, more than once a ****ing day. And, oh, look at the timer! I've only had time to check my e-mail and write this, and I only have 9 mintues left. Fantastic.

So anyway. I just wanted to let everybody know that I haven't disappeared.
