Group therapy for OCD?

hey, can anyone give me some feedback on group therapy for OCD?
My CAMHs therapist is already trying to kick me out and send me there, it sounds great! But I would just like to have the one to one too.
I've only had three sessions and I've already eliminated one OCD ritual :)
But anyway, the group sessions sound really good, but I don't know if they'd make me worse, like if I would pick up some of the other peoples fears and obsessions.

I've never had group therapy for OCD but have found group therapy in general to be quite helpful. People tend to be really supportive of each other and it can spur you on to reach goals and get through the difficult times. I hope it goes well, please keep us updated. Take care.

Thanks, also, does anyone know of how to find self harm groups? Because I've been searching but can't find any in Bracknell!

My CPN gave me leaflets for some near me, people I can phone etc. Have you anyone you could trust to ask?

I guess I could ask my therapist? Or call up a local youthline?
Or even try my school.
Thanks :)

That would be a good idea, sometimes there are information leaflets and posters in health centres and libraries too.
