Cacoethes 11-04-2023 09:09 AM

what a hectic day for you! :tongue2:
No work today?

nonperson 11-04-2023 09:18 AM

Nope, had to book an entire day off to sort this out because medical people keep sending me expensive medical things that I don't actually use so now I have to send them back. *frown* Already booked last Thursday off too to do the same thing but no one turned up.

Sorry, I'm grumpy and anxious about multiple people coming to my house at unknown times =(

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 09:25 AM

Oh how annoying!
Should you be using the medical things?

I get that.
I hate not knowing times of things. Even worse if it's som random coming to pick something up!

nonperson 11-04-2023 09:39 AM

Nah I have the medical things already and am using them but I keep being sent extra stuff that I didn't ask for and is actually older tech than what I am currently using. It makes no sense!

Yeah, the randoms are the worst. I'm expecting phone calls too because they won't be able to find my house.

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 09:43 AM

Morning all. Tesco shopping order today. Only 2 substitutions and no unavailable items. The substitutions are acceptable so it's ok.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 09:47 AM

Ah ok, fair.

Oh no! Is that a common occurrence then?

Pi.R^2 11-04-2023 09:54 AM

Oh my days that's so frustrating and anxiety-inducing np. Sending you all my spare confidence to deal with Stranger Danger!

nonperson 11-04-2023 10:06 AM

Oh no, now you've called it Stranger Danger it seems even worse! XD

And yes it is very common for people not to find my house. The other day I had someone leave a parcel outside my garage door because they couldn't see the house right behind it...

Pi.R^2 11-04-2023 10:08 AM

Oh no, I'm so sorry!! I was trying to show solidarity for the dislike of strangers :(

tamobhuuta 11-04-2023 10:16 AM

Morning everybody.

nonperson 11-04-2023 10:19 AM

It's ok! I'm joking, kinda =P

Do you have any exciting plans for the day?

Morning tamo!

:crying:

I’m just about to go into a GP appointment but am wearing rainbow dungarees because we have a games afternoon later, so hoping to avoid another histrionic PD diagnosis with this garish outfit…

nonperson 11-04-2023 10:50 AM

It's fine honestly. DHL man has just been and collected parcel #1 and he was really friendly. I think the second one isn't happening today...

Are rainbow dungarees a requirement for a games afternoon? Good luck at the GP!

one_step_closer 11-04-2023 10:51 AM

Morning everyone, you were all very chatty yesterday I can't keep up! Sorry for the not individual replies. I hope you all have a good day.

I would love to wear rainbow dungarees but I don't do anything that would make people notice me.

tamobhuuta 11-04-2023 11:01 AM

Rainbow dungarees are beyond me too osc!

Hope your GP appointment went OK Pi.

I'm going clothes shopping today, having thrown out a load that don't fit.

nonperson 11-04-2023 11:27 AM

Lindsay, I'm the same. Rainbow is far too noticeable. Black and grey is my colour pallette... =/

What kind of clothes are you after, tamo?

tamobhuuta 11-04-2023 11:37 AM

My spring/summer wardrobe of course! A dress, some cardigans.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 12:04 PM

I'm all for rainbow dungarees!

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 12:17 PM

I think that Jenna should get tie dye dungarees.

long road 11-04-2023 12:41 PM

Are the rainbow dungarees Lucy and Yak ones? I've been fancying a pair of their dungarees for ages. Tie dye dungarees do sound a good shout Dawn!

I am up, dressed and breakfasted and loitering around nervously for my neurophysio home visit at 1:15pm.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 12:44 PM

Hope your appointment goes ok!

My amazon music hasn't worked for about a week so i was using Spotify. Then the ads got far too much so i got the free trial. But discovered my mum has the family plan, so I'm mooching off that now XD

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 12:45 PM

Good luck with the appointment Jen!

long road 11-04-2023 01:10 PM

Thanks guys.

Hope your GP appointment went ok Jenna. What Games are you playing? I am a bit of a board game but myself.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 02:36 PM

I've decided to have a harry potter marathon.

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 02:46 PM

Tesco have been and now is the horrible bit of finding a home for everything. I have super noodles.

nonperson 11-04-2023 02:49 PM

Good choice, Beckie!

Must be horrible having full cupboards...

I've decided to continue with the second half of the extended Fellowship of the Ring.

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 03:12 PM

How long is the film nonperson?

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 03:16 PM

Also a good choice np!
Extended edition or nothing i say!

I've just showered.
They must have replaced the shower head in the last couple of days because before, it trickled out of 2 holes and now it's like an actual shower!

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 03:20 PM

Well done Beckie.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 03:29 PM

Thank you :)

tamobhuuta 11-04-2023 04:02 PM

I did my shopping :)

nonperson 11-04-2023 04:13 PM

Good work on the showering and shopping, tamo and Beckie.

I need to do a food shop later. Or maybe sooner rather than later...

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 04:14 PM

Thanks!

Good luck and godspeed np

nonperson 11-04-2023 04:23 PM

Haha, not a phrase usually associated with a food shop. =P

Also, they should have done extended editions of Harry Potter. Did you hear about the new HP series that's in the pipeline??

tamobhuuta 11-04-2023 04:29 PM

I did, I'm quite keen to see it, then complain about it like I do the books and films!

one_step_closer 11-04-2023 04:39 PM

Well done all you accomplished people!

You can do it NP.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 04:44 PM

Not usually! But sometimes needed :p

They definitely should have!
I did hear about the new series!

Thanks lindsay

nonperson 11-04-2023 04:48 PM

I don't think I can decide what to feel about the new series until I've seen it. It could fill in a lot of the gaps from the films... and they better get the casting right.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 05:12 PM

Yes i agree.
It'll be hard to get used to a new cast for sure

Ahimsa 11-04-2023 05:18 PM

Hey all,

I'm home from job 1, used my lunch break to make a drs appointment - earliest they can see me is the last week of May. (That's with me saying "anyone, anytime, not because I'm awkward with my availability).

I'm just warming up and letting rush hour quieten down and then need to do a food shop before job 2 at 8. I was meant to do it yesterday but I fell asleep instead.

long road 11-04-2023 05:23 PM

My appointment went fairly well but it took a lot out of me and I had to come low down after and then I feel asleep.

Gah to your GP Ahimsa that is ages away!

Ahimsa 11-04-2023 05:31 PM

fairly well is better than fairly bad though?

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 05:37 PM

I have now put the shopping away. Now I am cooking my tea.

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 05:37 PM

Hope you have an ok time at job 2!
Make sure to get some tasty things on the food shop

Glad it was ok jen.

For sure, I have ideas for things to try I just fried my brain. Plus had symptoms while she was there which was good because she could suggest things to help but bad because symptoms suck.

Thanks Beckie.

What's for tea Dawn? My partner is currently making up pasta and tomato sauce for dinner

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 06:05 PM

Symptoms do indeed suck

long road 11-04-2023 06:22 PM

I think I am staying in bed the rest of today. Completely worn out.

Thanks for the validation Beckie

Cacoethes 11-04-2023 06:23 PM

You gotta do what you gotta do!

long road 11-04-2023 07:34 PM

True that.

Which HP movie have you got up to now?

not_so_insig 11-04-2023 07:46 PM

Jen I had a roast lamb dinner. Was yummy.
