tbf I keep forgetting to turn my washing machine on then wonder why my washing hasn't finished so I'm not much help in this area :P

Oh I do that quite often too!! Like, if I mean to turn it on before going out so it'll be done for when I get back... I load it up and everything and then forget to press start. =/

Disa: Oh that is quite cool. It's interesting how people get their names! I have quite a few orchids myself so was just wondering. The Disa orchid is amazing though, I've never grown it but I really like the orange ones. They're super bright and cheerful when I've seen them at plant shows. =)

I've hung up my laundry, mowed the lawn, put a sprinkler on a crispy dry bit, planted up a pot with some climbers I bought today aaaand fished out a load of horrible invasive spreading ferny weed stuff from my pond.

Now eating pork crackling and pondering whether I need dinner or not. =)

I am a gardener by profession. But, more a nurseryman/woman than gardener. I just like growing stuff. Advice on orchids - don't care for them too much! That's where people make mistakes because they think they need loads of special care but really they don't. And underwater them rather than overwater. =)

No idea, never kept bonsai before! Might depend on what kind of tree it was. Most bonsai should stay alive for decades though if properly cared for. =P
