Aww, Findus was such a good boy!!!! He didn't attempt to eat the vet or anything. But he found it a bit stressful and is now having a nap in his favourite place underneath one of the birdcages <3

One of my piggies hated having her nails trimmed and i had to take her to the vet for that. It was impossible for me to do it alone!!! The vets used to look at me with a bit of pity and 'aw, a very unskilled piggie owner'-look on their faces. Which changed rather fast when i handed her over and it was their problem!! I Think she nearly traumatised one of the vets. He looked like he was about to cry at the end….

The lady at the rescue i got them from said she offers nail trimming. Only thing is, she's 2 trains and a bit of a walk away! So if I can't do it myself, i think I'll just go to the vets! I don't know if I'll be able to do it tbh. Neither of them are fans of being held! It is still early days though I guess!

Ok they are booked in to the vets for Friday morning!
Bit freaked out because i asked if i could book an appointment for my 2 guinea pigs and she asked if there were any concerns and I said no I just got them a couple of weeks ago and want to check they're ok. And then she said 'is this for Merry and Pippin?'
Whaaat?! Idk if she just remembered the email i sent or maybe my phone number showed up???
Just weird lol!

I can only have caffeine for the next 20 mins! Appointment is at 2pm, no caffeine 4 hours before Appointment.

I am off to the city centre today to do stuff. Including donating a cake stand to the local Cats Protection charity shop. They got broken into recently so are wanting donations. I donated before the break in but found the cake stand afterwards. It's an unwanted present and brand new in box. I will never use it so they might as well have it.

It's 2 trains to Cambridge and then a bus to addenbrookes. And then i have to find the royal Papworth. Addenbrookes is a HUGE site!
I'm just glad that it's not actually in Papworth anymore. Because that would be a real pain to get to!

I didnt get to the charity shop as I remembered that they're shut on a Wednesday. I had an appointment in the city so went to that. Some woman on the bus had stuff for the charity shop and she forgot so had to being it back with her.

On the way home!
Managed to get the train in time but it's the slow one so it's stopping EVERYWHERE!

I have 3 advent calendars. One is an yankee candle one though.

Just that i don't have anyone to buy me one! Or can justify the expense. If you think about it, it's a lot of money for 25 tiny pieces of chocolate!
Can probably get a good couple of meals for the price of an advent calendar!
